I am a writer, cook, knitter, quilter, lay homeopath, amateur gardener, avid reader and traveler. Having lived in Portugal, Germany and France, as well as five states from Oregon to Massachusetts, my life has always been a bit of an adventure. Through my travels I have come to firmly believe that, no matter our differences, our similarities connect people the world over. With the heart of a mother and the soul of a traveler, I write about my own adventures as a woman today with the hope that, perhaps, I can bring our many connections to light.
My essays have been published in The Oregonian, Literary Mama and Vancouver Family Magazine. I have also written for WGBH(Boston) Education division.
I am currently working on a memoir about growing up in Portugal in the 1970s.
